The Rain Cometh!

Alas, all good things must end...finally! I think we're clear of the snow. Though beautiful, I was starting to get cabin fever. You can listen to christmas music and watch "Frosty the Snowman" only so many times! I ventured out today, further than I have since the snowstorms. It was nice to be out and about. Yes, it's raining, but I welcomed it. Along with the warmer temperatures, the snow was melting. Most of the main roads are clear and the melting snow cleared itself from the residential streets.

Snowbound Part 2

Finally braved the snow and ice to venture outside. Not recommended if you need not be out there. With the forecast calling for another snowstorm starting this evening, I wanted to pick up a few food items. So, as you can tell, I'm staying inside and warm. Plan on listening to holiday music and maybe watching a few favorite movies. I have the fireplace ready in case we loose power. I'm looking out my livingroom window at how beautiful the snows on the tree branches are.

Snow-day

Another day of snow. So beautiful outside, but I'd rather be INside. Looking at the accumulation on the parking space roof, I'm guessing between 8-9" of the white stuff. And, it's still coming down.
